The course is aimed at 14 to 18-year-olds and is designed to challenge them to develop a range of leadership, self-management, and mentoring skill attributes.

This ILM Training Course can help Young Leaders develop their leadership style to help them extract the maximal productivity from a group which they are leading. 

Learners will significantly enhance their CV with this ILM Certification, whilst building core skills relating to mentoring, enhancing motivation, and accountability – all of which are beneficial in the workplace as well as future studies. The knowledge and techniques learnt during this training course will offer a pathway to future personal development qualifications and essential life-long communication skills.

We will cover topic areas such as leadership styles, team development, problem-solving, setting SMART objectives and using SWOT analysis.

Learners will be assessed through their written work, observations made by an instructor, peer feedback and self-assessment.
