EWAG programme

A programme designed to help to meet the needs of young women and girls affected by and at risk of being affected by domestic abuse (VAWG) during the current economic climate. The proposed approach to responding to the potential impacts of VAWG in a cost-of-living crisis was to deliver a programme that provided preventative and remedial support to address the issue of VAWG by providing sessions that educate and raise awareness. With a foundation of building self-confidence and equipping with helpful essential practical knowledge to help participants along the road of fulfilling their goals and potential.

The programme commenced with a new year’s event ‘New Year, New Me’ which was open to both male and female attendees.
